De-Siltation

We are able to remove silt from ponds, lakes and rivers using a variety of techniques. The photo on the left shows one of our excavators that has had wider tracks installed in order to reduce the chance of tha machine sinking in the silt. The silt was moved into dumpers and placed into a lagoon made from Nicospan geotextile.

If access is difficult we are able to mount an excavator on our pontoon.

We also have expertise in pumping silt, the silt can be pumped into geotextile bags and left to dewater. This method is useful when it is not posible to move the silt in dumpers.
